Neverwinter Nights from 2002 is still the best DnD mmo for me.

Just wanted to mention Champions of Regnum, if anyone wants a simple rvr open pvp mmo. It is tab target and old school, slightly more advanced graphically than DAOC. It’s a fun easy casual game for players to drop in and join in the rvr war when and if u like. The war tends to be hilarious because there are 3 realms and the number of wacky shenanigans that happen is quite unpredictable. There is a significant grind, but this game is so much chill fun at the end, it’s worth 10+ years of playing for one character.

Apple sold it as a means to get consumers to accept a defective product from the start, perpetuating their ability to always sell updates, forcing consumers to pay for things THEY DO NOT NEED.

Console command interface was al ways faster and better than any gui for general computing tasks. The gui is fine for office tasks, but shit for everything else. The popularity of the gui today has driven a massive upscale of cruddy bloated virus infected software. The fact that most people now only know gui has meant that control of viruses has slipped away. Had console commands been the mainstay for computing, viruses and security holes would never have been allowed to proliferate as they do today.

yea i would skip all smartphones. i got them an ipad. my parents are i their 80. there was no way failing eyesight and hand coordination can handle a tiny smartphone screen. Also skip android. Android has truly shitty touch interface responsiveness compared to Apple devices. Apple has the world’s best natural touch responsiveness. This is the main reason Apple is wooping Android ass. Dont waste money on smartphones for elderly. Only Ipads have a chance of working.

in fact for my mum, i was inclined to skip all touch devices. as a lady she has long fingernails. with arthritis making her fingers more crooked, there was no way for her to use a touchscreen. her fingernails would always tap the screen first. even if she trimmed her nails, her nails would touch first and the touch interface would fail. so i obtained a push button phone for her, old vintage desktop style.

it’s a huge success story for Star Citizen. I htink they are delighting the dreams of people who want to travel and work in space, but know they can never afford to really do so. Bethesda’s Starfield is a sort of attempt to do Star Citizen, but it’s just not as gritty and realistic as Star Citizen.
