The username looks to me like a joke

Technically the diagram is closer to modalism, which is heretical according to the Catholic Church.

According to the article, the context for the flashy headline is that all Catholics are children of God and that all must be treated with compassion, while still acknowledging that pedophiles are monsters.

I will not pretend that Francis’s hands are totally clean. He has mistreated abuse cases in the past. Around 2019 he actually started implementing some reforms that have to some extent helped. While I don’t think he did enough, he did much more than his predecessors. I highly suspect the next pope will be another Benedict and not another Francis. Consequently, I suspect that the mishandling will get worse.

He was an alright Pope in the end. Not a soulless bastard like Benedict.

My old family home got burgled back in high school. Some things of value were stolen, though luckily nothing sentimental.

What was worth more than the stolen money was that I no longer felt safe in my own home. I couldn’t sleep well for a long time after that. I felt like I was sleeping out in the open. Sometimes I would hear a noise and jolt up and spend a whole hour trying to see if I could spot something weird on the camera feed (we installed CCTV).

Protectionism only really makes sense if you’re a country without native industrial capacities and trying to industrialise. Even that is debatable.

Russia used to be a major world power with highly developed heavy industry and okay-ish light industry. A lot of that has been poorly maintained since the fall of the USSR but the factories are still there. Protectionism makes little sense here.
