He is actively sabotaging and siding with Russia. I’d be fine if he just shut up and minded his own business, but he is very much involved right now and even says Europe should not take part in negotiations. So on the one hand, he says it’s Europe’s cause, but on the other, he acts like it’s his his own cause. It’s once again Trump being Trump.
