Creating reasons for someone wealthy not to share their wealth isn’t helping the problem. I have a friend who wanted to give me land for basically free, but that’s illegal. He has to charge me 15x more than he wanted to charge me or adopt me. Those are basically the only two options since their is a minimum land cost.
So, guy buys a 300 million dollar house, pays a million dollars a year in property tax, if he buys a second house for a friend for 60k, he now pays 2 million a year in property tax, basically making that 60k home cost a million dollars? And if he wants to buy a building for his business, that business basically costs him an extra million in property tax?
WI is abused, no doubt about it. But, AI is fantastic for grunt work and finding hidden bugs. It’s like snubbing a tractor because hand plows give you bigger muscles. It’s idiotic unless it’s nothing more than a hobby. Use your mind/time on better problems.
I’m not a fan of sites collecting data, but Social media is a plague on society and I don’t personally think people should be using it at all. Certainly not children. It’s far worse than cigarettes IMO.
Right, because paying 15x as much for the land is the same as land transfer tax… Ignoring that this isn’t even my point. Not sure why your even arguing your point when I’m by no means rich. Are you arguing average people need to be forced to pay more for things?
Why didn’t he give me a cheap lease? Well because I’m not going to build a house on someone else land obviously. Seems like a stupid way to lose a lot of money
