Ive been jumping to and from Futo keyboard and Heliboard.

Futo has swipe typing which is nice in a pinch, yet I prefer Heliboard almost entirely. However, I also really really like Futo’s voice typing which ether comes bundled with Futo keyboard or you can install it separately to use with other keyboards, yet when I do this. Google voice typing keeps turning itself back on repalcing Futo voice. So I’m a bit stuck between these two currently.

Ive owned 2 Hiby devices, and bought one for my Mother for a Christmas gift. Honestly its such a niche piece of tech that there’s not really a pro repair company making DAPs, I think IBasso make DAPs with somewhat removable batteries but they charge a pretty penny, maybe hold out till post 2027 to see if some companies conform to EU regulations with user serviceable batteries.

Alas, HIBY are my favourite go to, the R4 is a value king around 250 and my personal DAP currently, the R3 ii is also a good choice at 150/175. But if thats too much, they do cheaper models at 90-ish for the R1.

Maybe with helldivers you can argue the cross play angle, but why require a PSN account for a single player game? Sony’s also doing this with the new Until Dawn version which also is coming to steam.

Yep, mine still lasts 2 days if I push it, though Ive been plonking it on its puck every morning while I get up since I got it at launch, its only ever dropped below 20% a handful of times. Sure ive been charging it more than most, but it doesnt do full battery cycles per charge so its lasted longer

Certain WiiU and 3DS games have a link with Miiverse, Nintendo’s Twitter before it closed 2017, you could post… posts from the game your playing when you beat a specific level or complete an achivement. You could also see and interact with other peoples posts ingame, in Super Mario 3D World for example you would see other players avatars on the world map, see their Miiverse posts and interact with them. It merged ingame worlds with Miiverse extremely well, making it feel like you were part of a tight not community Good Vibes Gaming did a very good video about Pretendo as a whole good watch if your interested

I have had my fairphone 5 since October, and I am contempt content with it, ive noticed a few software bugs and made the customer support team aware about them and while I’ll admit their responses are rather slow at times, ive never had a problem with attitude or unhelpfulness so far from them.

I will do what I can to genuinely keep this phone going until the security updates stop, being able to buy and replace the battery for a respectable 20 quid is incredible.

I’m also very excitied to see what 2027 brings as that is the year manufacturers are required, if they want to sell in the EU, to make their phones extremely repairable
