I’m a parent and I massively struggle with this. I am trying to be completely open and honest in age appropriate way but it’s really hard to do that without it becoming a conversation about how we are all deeply, deeply in for a bad time.

You so absolutely nailed my feelings on it. I was really excited for BZ and it fell pretty flat for me. The extra time out of the water just felt so forced and unnatural to me. I was moderately excited by the big ice worm until I actually played and just found it to be a nuisance. I couldn’t get finished with the ice shelf soon enough.
Also, why is everything so much smaller in BZ? It’s THE OCEAN. It’s supposed to be huge. If anything it should be bigger than the first game. Anyways I agree I hope they learned.
Every country in the world needs all the other countries more than all of the other countries need it. There’s just no real leverage, because we’re all interconnected; you can snip one country out, and it’ll slightly hurt everyone, but it’ll *wreck* the country that was snipped out.
This is just such an absolutely perfect summary. I wish we could American politicians to speak this clearly to explain why this is such a bad idea.
I have a Samsung fridge and the app is the same - it demands always-on precise location or it refuses to function.
Absolutely. Fucking. Not.
It was that big of a deal. I was in my early 20s and the event was devastating for multiple reasons. We didn’t understand what exactly was happening or why. Suddenly the country was being attacked in spectacular fashion at multiple locations simultaneously (it wasn’t just New York, it was also Washington, DC, then another flight that the passengers fought back so it didn’t reach the terrorists’ destination).
Whoever did this had planned super well and knew how to get us. We didn’t know who or why, what was going to happen next? Would bombs start blowing up in major cities? Was this a chaotic prelude to an invasion by another military? No option seemed impossible in those early hours as we watched the carnage live.
they take a hard left and blame minorities somehow
Or a hard right, maybe?
I agree it could be a coincidence. It’s just a really unfortunate coincidence in light of his public statements and the fact that so many other corporations are doing an any% evil speed run right now. Folks are right to ask questions and be wary.
The hate for proton is because the CEO Andy Yen retweeted Trump announcing his pick for assistant attorney general for antitrust cases. His retweet included commentary fawning over Republicans as “standing for the little guys.” When criticized the company doubled down and supported him but then said they wouldn’t be making any more comments because it was a distraction.
If that isn’t enough, someone noticed that CEO Andy’s Reddit username is ”andy1011000.” The numbers at the end are binary for “88” - a well known pro-Nazi dog whistle. He says this is only a coincidence and is meant to refer to being born in 1988.
So in summary he is publicly praising fascists and has a username which coincidentally has a pro-Nazi reference.
I think you’re falling into the trap of making a good faith argument when the people pushing to destroy encryption are not.
I felt your comment in my bones.
Or they pass a law mandating withholding.
Nah that place is fine. I got a ring there and they basically gave it to me. It’s really high quality and I love it. It is precious to me.
I definitely would. I’ve had to edit multiple posts after sending them because of formatting or other errors that were only obvious when viewing the post.
PST is a big place with a lot of variation. I have lived in CA & WA and found that in both things are way more chill than out east. However the biggest disadvantage of this is when you try to hire tradespeople to fix things at your home. Both states I’ve had lots of bad experiences with people who couldn’t give a shit. I know this can happen anywhere but I’m talking about a larger tend I’ve observed after living both places. Out west I’ve really struggled with finding someone to do a good job fixing anything at my home so I ended up learning to do a lot more stuff than I wanted just to get it done halfway decently.
It’s always worth the budget for this shot.
I’ve only played 2 games with dwarves this year
Rock and stone!
Whatever you do, don’t look up silicosis. Not a problem at all. Not relevant.
Similar vein: when dealing with fraud, etc. I was victim of credit card and identity theft and found that businesses and credit cards took my disputes more seriously when I informed them I had contacted police already.
I think that’s the artist showing his hand making the motion of cutting across the throat like people often do to say “stop doing that immediately.”
