2 years agoFirst of all, AI is a tool. But unlike a nuke the workers can have access to it, at least to some degree, allowing people to use it to deal with capitalists’ AI.
The real issue is not only that AI doesn’t work as advertised, but the impact it will have before this becomes painfully obvious to everyone.
The impact on manual labor will take a while though (because it takes time to build all the robots that will be needed), so as everyone that can WFH gets automated forever all these people can be brought to our side to revolutionize society. It’s eitheir that or hunger after all…
I’m not so sure.
A lot of reddit is just “non political” stuff so the ammount of bots there is probably quite low. The biggest contributor to propaganda in places like this might just be “concerned citzens” who believe all the propaganda from the empire either because they never saw anything different or because that propaganda “being true” is good for their material conditions as well. So I’m not so sure about the ammount of bots being that high…
