My friends trying Linux would just give me anxiety
What if they hate it though? I think most who try won’t stick, me included.
the happiness comes from the friends trying it out, if they dont like it, thats completely fine

The couple of people I’ve got to try it out didn’t stick either. But after a few years, they are now switching some old laptops to Linux to keep using them. Which is quite nice to see! It makes me happy just to see people giving Linux a chance, but even happier when they actually get some benefit out of it.
It is a matter of education, it must be taught from a young age.
c/Linuxmemes would be a better place for this.

The hardest part was installing it. Everything after that has been fun and interesting, and my current self would not think installing it was all that hard
