This translation sounds weird to me, but it might be right.
As always, stay tuned here on !comicstrips@lemmy.world for a slow trickle out of Jucika comics, but if you want to find more, here’s a good post with a large collection that /u/JohnnyEnzyme@piefed.social posted last year: https://piefed.social/post/1258520

I don’t know Hungarian but the title sounds ok: in many places in Eastern Europe and in most ex-USSR republics heating is very centralized and done by huge heat generation plants. So every autumn we have a few weeks when it is quite cold already but there is still no heat in flats. Time when heating plants work is called “heating season”. In Ukraine, for example, those plants start work when the median temperature is below 8 degrees for 3 consequential days.
Very interesting. How is the heat distributed, steam pipes?
NYC has the largest such system in the world so it’s not just Eastern Europe:

District Heating. Steam is used only in very old grids.Pipes with water.
Basically like “warming/cuddle season” I imagine. Love these comics thank you as always for sharing 😄
Thanks, and happy to share them!
The drawing style is always top notch.
