    Male pharaohs, specifically. The few female pharaohs we have evidence for were buried with one arm crooked over her chest and one at her hip. Probably making sure both halves of her bikini stayed on for the entire slide, while the men in swim trunks weren’t worried about it.

        The first intermediate period is approximately the 8th to 11th dynasties, I’m thinking of Pharaoh Hatchepsut from the 18th dynasty, who ruled Egypt after the invention of the Bikini.

        (If we’re honest with ourselves though, throughout Egyptian history they wore way more scandalous things than that just normally. Look up Egyptian bead dresses.)
