Previously on Star Trek: The New Cable Management:

Evolution sucks. Look at the recurrent laryngeal nerve:

Instead of going 2 inches from your brainstem to your larynx, it goes all the way to your aorta, wraps around it, then back up. This serves absolutely no purpose and is like that because of random, gradual evolutionary changes.
Even crazier is how it does this in giraffes too:

Maybe its like a pcb data trace, needs to be a certain length to deliver signals in correct timing. That was just a convenient route to prevent tangles

I loved that character. It kind of made the argument that the Borg will self-correct over time if left to their own devices.
Interesting fact: That’s the same guy that played the overzealous SS Officer in Killing Game.
And Stormfront!

A bit typecast.
Does it come stock with a water cooling loop?
Oh no, they assimilated the Taelons!
Is this borgslop
cable management like this is all well and good until it’s time to unplug any individual item
That’s why you never unplug anything after you’ve used it. You’re basically messing with the Mona Lisa at that point.
Or maybe you just leave the cable bundle in place and remove the endpoint
With how difficult good cable management is, Borg 2 is way more intimidating
He’s a lot less intimidating the moment he needs to turn his head.
In Borg Voice: Cable management is irrelevant. Increased mass resulting in increased signal pathway and higher latency is inefficient.
At least they didn’t go to Bluetooth pairing. All my homies hate Bluetooth pairing.
Dear god bluetooth is such an ugly reality that seems like it could have been sooo much better.
NFC where the nuts used to be.
The borg’s greatest weakness was a pair of scissors
Funny, but actually a bit on the nose, repeatedly in the show.
Phaser blast? In short order they have shields that block them. Time for some good old punching, which somehow the drones always seemed to be fairly vulnerable to. Also holodeck tommy gun made short work of them. Seems like starfleet should have just issued good old fashioned guns…
Um, I might be heading to IKEA in the near future to step my Kalkstuff game up. I use zip ties, and that looks far better.
