Hello! I created my account about six days ago, and I found a community with inactive moderator for three years. Can I request to take over it? I didn’t find any requirement in the TOS regarding account age, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks.
We definitely don’t always grant requests, but it truly hurts nothing to ask. I’m willing to take a look at a specific community you might have in mind, sure.

You kind of need to say what it is…
But yeah, if there’s no mods admins have to handle reports, so they tend to give communities to people who volunteer.
I’ve made posts here requesting a community, I’ve mentioned in a report that I could mod since there wasn’t one, and I’ve had admins just reach out and offer, but that was when .world was just starting and a lot of accounts made communities and abandoned them.
Like, just ask. There’s no need to ask if you can ask.
But be prepared that it might be months later when someone reaches out if you still want it.
