I am never going to forget that the US political system failed to employ its supposed superior checks-and-balances against a mad president brandishing nuclear weapons.

Even if you guys elect AOC as your next president, you’re not coming back from this, nobody should ever trust you again, unless you do some big constitutional reforms. The ancient antidemocratic Constitution that you revere is obsolete and antiquated and your quasi-religious devotion to it trash and downright dangerous. Just like Nazi Germany had to denazify, you fuckfaces need to de-american-exceptionalism-ify.

The US should never have been trusted, and no superficial “reforms” the dems push should change that.

Big. Beautiful. Bombs. So many of them. People say to me, they say they’re the BIGGEST bombs they’ve ever seen. And I believe them. Because you’ve never seen so many bombs like that. Only in America. Only in beautiful America could you get so many bombs.

I have a big decision coming up. Do I want to go in and annihilate them or do I not? It’s a big decision. Anything could happen with me.

Trump is trying the Madman Theory again. With his usual bluntness and terrible poker face. Why would it work this time? Is he stupid?

It’s very unstable, for the totally stable genius, to essentially justify annihilation with the schizophrenia of “Am I crazy enough, punk, Am I?” vs “Mission accomplished for 6 months already. We’ll just leave, but only after the midterms because we need to talk about something other than mission accomplished”

What would anyone do if US Nukes Iran. No one will even bat an eye, sanctions would be far out of realm. West wouldn’t even lose sleep over it. What more brown people dead would make any difference.

Global south and Middle East better find better partners.

That’s cause everyone has. Quite literally no one cares about it anymore. It’s only randoms on the internet here and there who are too out of touch with the reality of the world around them that are still harping in about it.

Anything that was going to happen has come and gone. It literally in every sense of the word no longer matters at all to any one in power.

              They have moved on entirely.

Short of nukes, they’re not competent enough to do so and the American economy and the people are not in a position to support a major ground offensive. Nukes probably wouldn’t even work to destroy the political apparatus so it would just be mass murder.

No fucking clue. Depends how well they’ve purged the military leadership and replaced them with yes men and psychopaths. I would imagine the leadership of the last several decades would be very strongly opposed, ultimately I don’t know if they’d refuse an order form the executive. You’d think nukes would require congressional approval except during a Congress declared war, but I don’t think so.

Trump supporters are selfish people. The fact millions of innocent people would die is less important to them than the fact it will increase the price they pay at the pump

It is! But how I feel about it doesn’t make it any more or less true. And likewise, I try to behave in ways to avoid the same ending, even if it means less hedonistic enjoyment and material comfort.

I would say “rational people” is more accurate. Being rich and powerful is not relevant at all is it?

Most of the rich and powerful people who are currently ruining the US agree with you that hell exists, by the way.

Are we really gonna sit here and pretend that Christian nationalist don’t believe in hell? Give me a break.

The entire concept of hell exists to control people like you.

You can be a rational person and be entirely immoral and self serving. And idk what those people believe in, they’re extremely confused, the worst form of Trinitarianism is the one that denies God’s judgment and I guess that’s what they’re about? “Jesus forgave my sins so I can colonize, murder and rape with impunity”? They can say they “believe in God” in whatever way they want the same way a wife beater can rationalize it as love and passion, doesn’t mean it makes any sense.

It’s weird that you’re shitty to people for their beliefs. If those beliefs bring them comfort and help them treat others well, you benefit from them. You can value true beliefs in your own life and while choosing your immediate circle, and if you really want to spread it to the wider public, you could advocate for it instead of intentionally offending people for being different from you.

Now WHY would you tell the WORLD that you are out of ammo??? No logic there.

What I suspect is a special “someone” owns the munitions factory that “desperately” needs to be in high gear right NOW. There’s some logic here.

That’s SOP for this president. Gee some more logic.
