My great grandfather worked on the dam. He was hit in the head with a huge (steel beam? Something?) That was so heavy it pushed him into the setting concrete he was standing on. He survived thanks to headgear but he suffered brain damage that meant he could no longer smell. Wasted away because eating sucked after that.
