    ““I knew from his cry, in the look on his face, that something had happened.” The mom has a sharp eye there. I don’t know I’d be able to tell that there was something wrong with a crying child.

    Also, does recording on video count as breaking the first rule?

      You get to know what’s a real “I’m hurt really bad” cry from “I’m scared” or “I didn’t get what I want” etc. for your kids.

      the first rule is “nobody talks about fight club.” nobody said anything about recording it and posting it on youtube.

      The cries are very different, so are the barks of a dog. But that’s something you learn with time. I understand my kids and my dog perfectly, at the same time I have no idea what other kids or dogs try to say. A communication form that is uniquely shaped in the family.
