I could’ve beaten it but only to the first story, second one’s too sad.
In france tje day of the accident they called her “lady di” pronounced like “Lady die” for half a day before they caught up.
I’m pretty sure the Brits always called her Lady Di (as in “dye”) as that’s how her first name is pronounced in English.
Do brits pronounce dye and die differently?
I wonder if copies of the original are worth anything. Like the “Dewey Defeats Truman” papers
