And add to that, that this time he destroyed institutions, so that might be additional 2 years or more replacing unqualified people with qualified ones before country can actually have a chance to start cleaning the mess.
When I think what needs to happen for this (like the whole of USA, the wealth inequality especially) to be fixed I keep thinking of the great depression. That was the catalyst for FDR and the new deal Democrats to take power and in my opinion bring on the Golden age of capitalism. When the Iran war started I was hoping it would lead to such catalyst. I still think we are heading to something like that but maybe Trump administration is able to manipulate these systems better than expected. Maybe the whole financial system is just backing him somehow?
Anyway, I don’t see the Democrats holding power for long without Trump blowing up the economy. There is just so many people that hate Democrats. I’ve lived all over the USA, once you meet a Democrat hater, you realize nothing can change their mind. It’s quite depressing. Hopefully you can give me some hope, but this whole trumpism/fascist experiment is just beginning imo.
