Honestly just in STL there are a lot of variety of dialects though, even not accounting for racial lines. Go down to Arnold and you might as well be in the bootheel

“Mahm” I guess. Definitely not “ma’am” or “mome”.
Yeah STLiens pronounce “o” differently. I didn’t even realize we had a bit of an accent until someone asked me about it one time
