Isn’t most modern comput-o-communication done with fiber optics these days? And the power supply wires are often made from aluminum. Very little copper in them data centers what with the insatiable greed of their CEO’s.

Plenty of copper in the switch gears, and at the panels. Single mode fiber is used as backbone for long runs. Multimode is used for backbone between closets.

Data centers may use cat 8 wire which also doesn’t have much copper in them but, those big fuck ass CRAC units gots plenty of copper.
