Ghost. Square Hammer is the song that initially melted my face off.
Edit: Almost forgot, I think I got into Dirt Poor Robins even more recently. I just love their sound, it’s like nothing I’ve heard before. A lot of their songs possess religious undertones, but not obnoxiously so. Some faves:

You found a fantastic band to get into! My wife and I are bummed Ghost’s current tour is done, we went to four of them because the production value of their latest tour was so damn good.
I got super into “Square Hammer” last Halloween!
I got into them a few years ago and for me it was the live video of ‘Mary on a cross’ which then got me into their discography.
Congrats on finding the best band ever 🤘
Do this song next
Electric Callboy!!
They’re a German electronicore band who fuses metal, EDM and techno and they’re pretty fun/funny
Kyuss
I’m currently waiting for Jesse Welles to take the stage. His song “RED” hooked me hard.
Igorr . Ils sont fous, les Français!
The last one is Lord of the Lost. Scratched the itch of getting a metal band that I don’t have to worry about being a nazi cult in the future.
Damn, these songs are good on their own, he’s got a nice rich voice. But then oh my fuck, also the costume work is hella good.

Fcukers have been putting out an astonishing amount of music in the last year.

Which is awesome, Nora wasn’t going to be able to keep Vengaboys vibe alive alone forever.
Shits too depressing these days to not have mindless party music.
Oh, I like. Silly club music is the other genre besides metal that can hack my shitty brain into working for a few hours, and they’ve got a nice beat.
Bon Bon is pretty good too. Sounds like almost the same beat to me?
They just dropped a whole album yesterday, before that it was just singles.
I haven’t listened tho, but I get the feeling each album is like a “set” where all the tracks blend into each other.
The start of every new track, is the end of the last one.
Which would explain why so many feel so similar.
The band is just a DJ and a vocalist after all. Kind of a Sophie Tucker type deal.
Men I Trust
Igorrr - can’t understand no one around me have ever heard about them.

Amigo the Devil - found on a murderfolk playlist
Parov Stellar - techno-swing
Bridge City Sinners - murderfolk
Mariache el Bronx - mariache cover band
Plastic Bertrand - French surf rock (?)
If you like Amigo the Devil and don’t know them already, check out Harley Poe. Murderfolk/Horrorfolk
Will do, thanks!
Been digging the Wee Hairy Beasties:
Sleep Theory - not to be confused with Sleep Token
They’ve been around or several years now, but I just discovered Brothers of Metal a month or so ago from one of their tracks being in the game Pistol Whip, and I’m slowly becoming obsessed.
They’re such a fun balance of epic viking fantasy and tongue in cheek humor.

I probably heard stuff on the radio (CBC-1) and even on Lemmy that I’ve taken a liking to the first time I’ve heard them, but have yet to search for them. But here are a few relatively recent stuff. I pretty sure I’ve listened to each of the first 3 at least 10x, maybe ≥20x.

Yeah, I know, 2 young attractive barefoot women who kiss in the end and the translation, IIUC, indicates that her parents wouldn’t understand their relationship, but I’ve taken quite a liking to the music.
Ivana Máchová & Miriam Hrušková - Terezka [sounds a bit like ABBA] (1979)
