At press time, Carney was fully convinced that this was going to be the time that a US attack on a Middle Eastern country was finally going to lead to peace and security for its people.

Carney gave a great speech at Davos but it was all talk. He is 100% with continually sharing more and more information on Canadians to violate their privacy rights and comply with US corporate demands. I know Canadian courts have been consistent in striking down facial recognition AI tech in Canada, but what’s there to say that the companies aren’t just doing that anyway? Without real tangible penalties and actual enforcement they can do as they please.

The punch line at Davos was “time for the shopkeepers need to stop posting signs supporting systemic lies”. No US empire lie has yet to be unsupported.

Definitely seemed slightly isolationist, which I’d guess is correlated to imperialism.
