Saad El Shazly said that only twenty DPRK troops (or rather pilots) were sent to Egypt. There are rumours that Pyongyang sent some 3,000 troops and military advisers to Angola, but Angolan officials denied that. I haven’t found other cases beyond these two or three (unless you count sending military advisers to the Rep. of Iraq as deploying troops), and overall, these deployments were meagre compared to what the dictatorships of the bourgeoisie deployed.
