That’s probably because a single 2 oz serving (1/6th of a can) has a third of the salt you need per day. A can is 2x the recommended daily salt intake.

I ate half the can in that sandwich and nothing else yesterday. Is it bad to get your full % daily value of salt in the span of less than 5 minutes?
I’m no doctor, but it’s probably not ideal.
