sigh
Reminds me of /r/OrphanCrushingMachine
I’ve made the Pit of Despair more ethical by not actually having a human being operate the pit. People walk into the room and a machine decides whether or not they suffer existential despair or they simply perish.
It is also theoretically possible that a person could live out the rest of their natural life in the pit of despair without ever dying from anything inside of the pit, it’s all random, and therefore maximally ethical.

reading that title was like reading a 500 page book
I heard you guys really liked that book 1984!
Why would we like a book written by a nazi collaborator?
Who is we from your perspective?
