I mean, they haven’t released any console exclusives, making all their games available on the competition console, AND they increased prices.

I would never believe if they didn’t say they were doing it on purpose to manipulate market data. Probably to try to push the idea of a cloud subscription-only, disk driveless, hard diskless plastic box.

Nothing brings me more joy than seeing this. After they closed their only good studios because their bigger, mediocre ones didn’t make enough money, I haven’t even booted my Series X since

What constantly telegraphing to the entire industry that you’re basically planning on bailing on the Hardware business and that you really don’t care about your consumer base at all. Has come back to bite them in the ass. I’m shocked I tell you shocked.

Never stood a chance! I really hope they learned their lesson and stay out of the gaming market. They introduced pay to play online while PS3 was free. Then they tried to buy all the big publishers to hoard games and make them more expensive. Fuck Xbox!

We still have an Xbox One, and last year was really the first year that games were no longer available for that console. We ended up getting those games on steam and got a 2nd steam deck during the sale. I think we’ll wait a few more years to see how prices keep changing. Also want to see how the Steam Machine does, although I’m sure it’ll be expensive compared to a console.

I recently got an Xbox One S to play my 360 games via remote play but $10 a month for Xbox live is ridiculous

Suppose I find one used for cheap. Is there a way — and would it be worth it — to repurpose it as an affordable gaming PC?

I bought mine assuming the new Fable would be a console exclusive.

I also use it for Halo and Morrowind. But damn, I probably wouldn’t have bought it if I had known it would be multi-platform.

Never buy on a promise what could be in future. But on the other hand, you will be able to play Fable on the console. It doesn’t get worse just because its not exclusive…

I already have a PS5 which I’ll get it on. I got the Xbox on a discount to play Halo Infinite with good specs (ended up hating it) and Fable. I kinda hoped for some other benefits. But end of the day, I didn’t actually need it for anything.

That’s what I meant by multiplatform. I don’t fully regret my Xbox because I got it one of those steep discounts and I have Halo lan parties. So a second xbox is nice. But it’s essentially just a more powerful Xbox One now.
