The biggest crime in those little eyes is the existence of decorative plants. Im tempted to get some kudzu for enrichment because it’s the only plant that grows as fast as ke can kill it and it’s also good for them.

So it’s actually acrylic, and I scuffed up the bottom edge because turts have a hard time with transparent material. Doesn’t stop Digger though, he knows it’s there and still tries to barge through it.
Could be wrong, not a turtle expert but believe it’s on purpose for humidity. I believe you’re supposed to mist their environment daily
Being the craft goblin I am, their cobbled container is actually humidity controled by a household humidifier piped in though a fidget tube! I love it, because the cool mist pools on the ground and makes them look like tiny dinos.
