That right there belongs to scrapper bob.

scrapper bob always has a rusted, beat up, 20 year old pickup, often pulling a dump trailer of the same vintage.

scrapper bob always has gates, boards, and other flat objects in his truck and trailer to make cargo walls, so scrap can be piled sky high with no proper tie downs.

scrapper bob is often seen creeping through neighborhoods looking for curbside toilets and sinks to shatter to take just the metal.

Scrapper bob does not give a fuck.

Having grown up where I’ve had to have a yearly MoT test for most of my life, as well as a twice yearly ITV test because my van is 25.

    What the fuck?

Do youse not have any sort of vehicle safety checks over the pond?

Differs by state. Maine has no emissions req, just a safety and muffler check. Pretty much a no big holes rule, unless you know a guy, and we all know a guy. But it’s yearly. When I grew up in CT it was every 2 years but they put a snorkel on your shit and test for emissions.

I’m not sure which part is actually providing the structural integrity here - the fence gate, the slackened ratchet straps, the rust, or the snow.
