I was once stuck on a train near Donner pass for 6 or 8 hours. The train had a whole car that had been booked by a girlscout group, so I got to spend a chunk of that time listening to a few tweens debate what order to eat everyone in.

Sometimes I forget about how much of a weird history nerd I am until someone reminds me that “no…not everyone already knows about weird history shit off the top of their head.”
