Optum bought the local clinic and so far my wife’s rheumatologist and nephrologist both have left.

Can’t wait to see where this will lead.

Do you know where they have left to? I wonder where Medical Doctors consider better places.

I live in the PNW, my doctor retired. Multicare, instead of just transferring my wife and I to different doctors, did nothing, and now are treating us, did nothing.

We are being treated as new patients and the earliest a new patient can be seen is October 29th. Yes, 9 months away.

The earliest date I have been givenrom any of the other doctors offices I have called was June.

The joke used to be whenever anybody asked why their area had so few doctors was that they doctors all were in Seattle. Yeah, maybe, but they certainly aren’t seeing anybody in a timely manner.

I hope they come back to Canada, we could really use a couple here. We don’t pay as much, but at least you won’t have to tell a patient they can’t afford life saving care… (yet)

And the 2A is to allow the working class to take out their frustrations on other working class members and commit more harshly punished crimes to allow for longer sentences in the slave factories.

Not just arrested. Luigi’s been mostly in solitary confinement and straight jackets this whole time.

no no no… it’s not like you’re not allowed to kill poors. cops do it all the time. so do corporations. and president’s. and civilians too, one just got released for killing a homeless person around the time Luigi was arrested for allegedly shooting a corporate demon, according to unsubstantiated rumors.

corporations are people, my friend; poors are not.

Yes, you’re certainly free to do so, you’ll only need to wait until our parent runs out (whoops, we made a meaningless adjustment to the formula and got the patent extended), spend huge buckets of money getting your production chain up to the spec of the regulatory agency that we captured, get contracts with the pharmacy benefit managers (whoops, we gave them totally cool and legal kickbacks), and then when you start making money, we’ll just drop our price until we bankrupt you, buy up the scraps, and make sure nobody else can recover anything from the ashes.

The system is working as designed.

It’s not designed to help you, but it’s working as it was designed to work.

I know what you mean, but comments like yours always make me feel sad. Like, what is justice in this context? A just world would be one in which their son is still alive. Justice died with him.

My own experience of litigating an injustice sticks with me. No amount of compensation can ever undo a wrong that should’ve never been allowed to happen.

I’m honestly hoping that the next time someone gets so tired of these mass murdering dick heads, that enough lessons have been learned from Luigi’s situation that the entire populous turns into Johnny tightlips, and the feds can’t find them.

I swear that Luigi would have lived a long, happy life if not for that one person who called him in.

“few” is really unscientific. everyone knows for an experiment to yield reliable results you need a representative sample size. and then repeat the experiment to see if it gives the same result. only then you can be confident.
