    I fucking love beetlemoses

maybe embarrassing to admit, but the longest and hardest laugh I’ve had in my adult life was at this three panel comic:

Hey, sometimes you want an immature guilty-pleasure comic. It’s the same reason why I love the Elder Cactus comics too.

Thanks, my mind decided it would be a good idea to imagine a moaning sound near the end of that

I’m either missing context, or the joke is going over my head

It’s a meta joke about how deathly serious 60 Minutes takes itself.

So even if a giant silverback was ripping the set apart, Lesley Stahl would just narrow her eyes and let it speak its piece for the sake of journalism.

I took it as more of an anti-joke. Like her expression says “hmm… You don’t say? Tell me more.”

I thought her expression said she wants to fuck that gorilla.

To me it says 60 Minutes asks super obvious questions. Or questions that you already know the answer to.

IMHO they do and it’s tiring to watch. Their questionsá are basically affirmations.

Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.

The rules are simple:

  • The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author’s website, for instance).
  • The comic must be a complete story.
  • If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
  • You may post comics from others or your own.
  • If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
  • The comic can be in any language, but if it’s not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post’s ‘body’ field (note: you don’t need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
  • Politeness.
  • Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.
