Had a mishap with my computer and been at it all day, Had some delicious kebab to make up for the frustration. So I guess it was ok overall.

I’m not sure about that.
Opensuse because of Yast; Yast does not have the best UI, but for some settings it’s the only option if you don’t want to use terminal.
Like other phones, this most likely won’t have open source firmware.
