3 days agoThere’s an often repeated theme in philosophy that any gift that comes with conditions is actually just business.
My previous account was @dumblederp@aussie.zone I left it because Rowling has turned out to be a pretty shitty person and I don’t want the association.
Mostly I’m just here for idle friendly conversation over shared interests.
I can get caught up in my own stubbornness on some topics.

9·3 days ago1kg dry beans soaked and 150g of most types of curry paste makes for a great meal. I’m currently eating red lentils and vindaloo paste with cabbage cooked in with it.
Soak lentils overnight, then rinse and whisk to clean them off before use.
2·8 days agoIt’s one of the reasons I’ve reduced my animal diet. That video a few years ago of pigs being fed stale bread that was ground up still in the packet putting plastic through the food. Fuck that noise.
4·8 days agoI’m tyring to eat less animal food so have been buying odd vegan ingredients for cooking and substitution. It’s fun.
It’s situational. There’s no fixed rule.

Oh for sure, Trumps business style is about extortion rather than collaboration. He has to win and they have to lose.
