Same. It’s a favourite from when I was a kid and it’s so easy to veganise

Thanks. It’s a dish that you can make as simple or as complicated as you like, so definitely one to try
Oh absolutely. I was willfully making this quite decadent as it was to share and I wanted to impress. My favourite ‘mince’ substitute is actually a mix of brown lentils, walnuts, and mushrooms
I’ve made this a fair few times so I mostly just wing it, but I’d recommend the Yeung Man video on YouTube
Thanks. I bulk buy noodle nests, so I end up eating a lot of ramen and stir fry
Thanks. Me too. It’s certainly a guilty pleasure lol
Thanks! I’m happy to say it was. I do like ramen during the week. It’s quick and doesn’t make a load of washing up
Hot damn, that looks delicious! Love a curry
Yeah, everything I’ve done from this book is excellent. She’s been putting up all these one pan baked versions, that, whilst not the same, are still delicious and soo easy
Thanks. It was, but I’m greedy and i never make enough
It’s probably my favourite dish, and difference between eating it out here and making it at home is night and day
Thanks. I think I’m just lucky with where my counter and ceiling light are positioned
Weird genetic quirks are like getting shafted by the mutant X gene. I have a photic sneeze reflex, which is the worst super power. Bright lights (Inc. the sun) make me sneeze… I’m still waiting for that acceptance letter Xavier
Great answer. It’s really easy to underestimate how long to cook down the onions and tomatoes to get the right flavour profile. I know it took me a while to get down.
It’s a bit clumsy but yeah. It’s far better than the repeated use of ‘slams’ or ‘blasts’.
I have been known to have marmite and nutritional yeast on toast… it tastes like B12
Off-brand lemon and cold medicine drink, hot, because I have a cold. I want to be drinking the same, but with whisky
Waxcaps are such striking mushrooms. My favourite being The parrot waxcap (Gliophorus psittacinus), with its variable green to yellow colouration.
I like bell peppers, but before veganism became more mainstream where I am a few years back, the lazy veggie option in restaurants was bell pepper stuffed with couscous, and I grew to detest it.
This is the answer I am leaning towards
