    Why are us troops in Syria? Maybe we wouldn’t get attacked if we weren’t in half the countries of the world

      I think the answer to your question might be subtly embedded in the second paragraph of the article.

    If our troops weren’t there this wouldn’t be happening. We should send whatever politicians put them there to that base and see how they like it.
