OUAGADOUGOU, Burkina Faso (AP) — Burkina Faso’s President Roch Marc Christian Kabore is being held by mutinous soldiers, two of the rebellious soldiers told The Associated Press by phone early Monday.

      Terrorism is a huge problem in Burkina Faso ( it also affects other West African countries, North Africa and Mozambique) the government like most other corrupt governments has taken a very lackadaisical approach to dealing with the problem that lead to months of antigovernment protests with brutal repression by the state until eventually the army decided enough was enough and that they’d deal with the terrorism issue themselves
