    300 hectares — the equivalent of almost 500 football fields

    Thanks for the context. As someone who lives in the US, I wouldn’t have been able to put that to scale otherwise.

      500 football fields does not properly convey the size at all.

      Why they choose stupid things like that or buses or whatever is beyond me.

      1.15 square milea or ~ 3 square kilometers is much more easily perceived.
