Donald Trump on Sunday called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to halt strikes on Russian diesel, saying the attacks are causing a fuel shortage.
Ukraine’s long-range strikes have been targeting Russia’s oil and gas industry for months, which Kyiv says both funds and directly fuels Moscow’s more than four-year-old invasion of its neighbor.
The Ukrainian drone campaign has caused fuel rationing across Russia, despite the country being a key oil and gas exporter. Other Ukrainian strikes targeted major Russian online retailers, bringing the war ever closer to the public.

I am shocked but not surprised that Trump has decided Ukraine is at fault for the skyrocketing cost of fuel. The only really “surprising” part is that he didn’t try to blame Biden.
Presumably, there is a wheel or dartboard, or bingo ball dispenser full of Trump’s perceived enemies somewhere and when a problem becomes too big to ignore or gaslight Americans about, they just pull it out.
