I never forget that the US gov created Al Qaeda by indiscriminately blowing up people in the Middle-East, and some of the murdered were friends & family of the three founders of the group. Cause and effect. If my friends and family get bombed for existing I’d also become a vengeful terrorist who spends a decade growing more powerful by connecting with other victims of state murder. I just like to think I’d be able to retaliate on the ones responsible and there to be no innocent casualties.
