The California flag sucks, I said it. Replace that shit with the Tennessee flag
From a design perspective, I have to agree. It commits a couple sins that other flags get shredded for (busy illustration, words on flag), but always gets a pass because it’s “iconic”.
Speaks more to the socio-political significance of California than anything else, I guess. Like when supermodels wear hobo clothes as a statement and it’s considered haute couture, while on anyone else it’s just the result of misfortune.
I cannot say I fully endorse CGP Grey’s conclusions, but I find him entertaining regardless.
