Nnani Adaobi Marian, 23, sustained life-threatening injuries during a guided aerial bomb attack on Kharkiv on June 29.

Marian, a student of Kharkiv National Medical University, was later transferred to Germany for further medical treatment but eventually succumbed to her injuries despite efforts by medical professionals in both Ukraine and Germany.

According to Newsroom, Russian forces dropped aerial bombs on the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv on June 29, killing 14 people across the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions, while 98 others sustained varying degrees of injuries.

In an official condolence statement, Kharkiv National Medical University paid tribute to Marian, describing her as an outstanding student and a dedicated future medical professional.
