Apparently Kroenke confirmed that we’re planning on expanding the stadium
In the interview I saw it seemed like it was still at the planning stages. I think there’s a lot of bureaucratic stuff they have to get through before it’s all approved.
I imagine they’re talking about it now because they know they want to do it, and want local Gooners to be able to put pressure on their local politicians to approve any changes.
I’ve heard a lot about how the Kroenkes’ LA stadium is much better than the one Arsenal plays in. I’m sure part of that is 20 years of time passing. But, I wonder if some of it is also that gridiron football is such a stop-start game that it’s good to have lots of screens and things to distract people.
As we get closer, the nervousness rises. So does the excitement too I guess.
The secret is to not care if we lose because making it is already such an accomplishment and also WE’RE CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND BAYBEEEEE
