Pretty tight match, but we deserved the win. That chance Gyokeres had in the second half was harder than it looked, but argh! That would have settled some nerves. No broader criticism of him though, he did really well overall. Same with Saka, Rice, and MLS. And Big Gabi did a good job putting their attackers off. We’ll need to step out up for the final though.

Four more cup finals (three in the league, haha). Come on lads!

Gyokeres is a limited player in many ways. But, the one thing you can’t fault is his willingness to brawl for the ball. Sometimes that isn’t enough, but today it definitely was. Without his physical battles Arsenal would have been under so much more pressure.

I just hope that a few weeks is enough to get everybody healthy, available and match fit. If Saka, Odegaard, Norgaard, Timber and Havertz can all be fully fit and able to play 90 minutes without difficulty I think the odds of Arsenal winning the CL final go up significantly. As of Sunday Arsenal will now have a week between matches for the first time since what, September? That has to help.

Looking like it’s PSG at this point.

Funnier things have happened of course but they have a good advantage now.

I think Bayern were robbed a bit.
