I’m really annoyed that there doesn’t seem to be a way to show hidden posts after you’ve hidden them. I accidentally hid all read posts in a community that I moderate, and while I disabled marking posts as read to prevent that from happening in the future, I cannot reverse the misclick in any way. This makes it harder to manually check any of those posts without using a different app or a browser.
While I know I’m a weirdo who doesn’t use social media like most people (I never use feeds and always look at specific communities or pages at a time), it is really annoying when interfaces are designed in a way that make my life harder. I love checking on posts multiple times throughout the day so I don’t miss out on any conversation. I hate feeds feeding me endless content and like it when repeat posts give my scrolling a natural endpoint. I just wish there was a way to reverse decisions that you can easily access with a single click. It hurt me inside to lose several days worth of posts that I might’ve checked in on, and not finding any option to help me was infuriating.
Feeling like I’m not getting all the information I want to see is seriously turning me off of this app, which sucks because there aren’t many like it. Open source apps without ads are hard to come by, and I while I do enjoy this app overall, I often need to use a web browser to see critical information like old posts, full mod actions, and user profiles. It’s a shame, because I doubt these features will ever be added.
There’s a „hidden“ tab in your profile/account tab where you can see your hidden posts and reset them

My hero! Thank you for saving me from my own incompetence <3
Also you can hold the hide button to bring a menu to unhide all posts or do it temporarily.
Another helpful setting is to disable hiding in communities, it’s in the same place you disable the mark as read.
