Can this decal get me into actual legal trouble?
In the last 15 years I’ve been left angry notes, my tires deflated, and I’ve been keyed. Can someone accuse this as hate speech under the new bill?

If there is no other crime then no, the new crime can only be tacked on to an existing crime. it seems like they are committing vandalism, so perhaps under the new law they could get a charge commensurate to the penalty for vandalism probably not worth the extra lawyering imo.

At least I have no payments and I don’t drive a modern car that connects to the internet. That shit is pathetic.
I had a 325i and it was keyed twice and pretty sure the door handle was pissed on once. And I didn’t drive like a dink, unlike most BMW owners, I realized my car came stock with signal lights that worked and I used them. But that’s been my experience with owning a BMW.
And I’m with you on the “smart” features. I’ll be fucked if I have a connected vehicle. My 18 year old Ford pickup with hand-cranked windows and an FM radio are the sweet spot for me.
