    It’s nice they talk about ActivityPub but not a single Fedecan mention. Wow. 😄

    Some talk about a 3.5K-user social as well as about a proprietary one. Meanwhile we got more than 40K just between lemmy.ca and sh.itjust.works.

    Canada can find digital sovereignty if the citizens own the infrastructure. That takes care of the tech side, now human nature…

    Can Canada find digital sovereignty in the Fediverse?

    Like most complex issues, the solution is never any one single thing.

    But making use of the Fediverse can absolutely be one part of a larger plan.
