protest was in a deep red area that consistently goes to republicans in elections

Hard to tell since I was on a bridge and traffic is loud, but there were mad people like red in the face. I also got called the f slur for my flag and there’s a reel handle (full ape shit behavior) and I just laughed it off.

I did bring a megaphone and heckled with “sorry can’t hear you”

I’m gonna say t shirt mask because that’s why I used in the protest but only for the flock camera. I do agree with the article. Id say over preparing would be based on how much you carry, I used to bring a lot of items and I’d simply forget about them except for the most relevant.

Id recommend it you’re going to a protest just look at what people done before, find what you like then make it your own

I told another guy to treat it as a convention/social and have fun and talk to people. See what other people have done at protest and make it your own. This is closest thing to my flag pole I use I just duct tape and zip ties to hold 3’ x 5’ flags in place then

You could buy an American flag to fit into most protests.

I do carry a painters mask with me for tear has and bottle or water would be useful to cool down canister, or a cardboard box to contain the gas.

I bring gauze and tourniquets just in case but never needed to use them

Do you understand that protests do nothing until violence is introduced? Ice should all be shot on site.

I get violence, it has worked. protest should be looked at like conventions you meet new people, you network, you find people to organize with. protest really should be viewed as this fun thing to do and a expression of yours. if you want the violence your talking about you should organize before hand
