Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has said there will be no more wars after Ukraine if Russia is treated with respect - and claims that Moscow is planning to attack European countries are “nonsense”.
Yeah right. And meanwhile he’ll still be running the bot farms, relentless disinformation campaigns and killing people he doesn’t like on foreign soil.
Respect is earned.

This isn’t the first story that had me feeling the same. He’s not flat out desperate yet, but the fall is inevitable.

No more wars? But Ukraine isn’t even a war. It’s a special military operation. He needs to promise no more of those.

But, Maldova, Poland, Estonia, <…and more> are really already part of Russia if you think about it. And Russia needs to protect it’s borders, so if you have a border, abutting Russia, you’re really already part of Russia. Mirroring the circular logic justification for Israeli settlements.
Also, Russia technically isn’t at war right now either.
