    These would be incredibly useful in scenarios where someone might otherwise require assistance when bathing.

    Was anyone else tripped up by the picture shown in that article? To me it looks as though it’s a miniature version of the device, but I can’t quite put my finger on why that is.

    I assumed this was going to be a solution to Japan’s problems of an increasingly elderly population combined with a refusal to increase immigration.

    I thought we had already invented that one. In two separate version. The first was the bathtub and the revised one being the shower booth.

    Ehm… So they reinvented the bathtub, with a lid and music? So they made single piece design which couldn’t break down into a tech heavy smart device prone to errors and breaking down? OK 🤷

    Thing looks like a suicide pod, and drowning is one of my biggest fears. This thing also costs about as much as my house I’m still paying off. I am not the target demographic for this.
