Boost 1.0.28

Android 16 on Pixel 8a

Boost’s content is visible behind the notification bar at the top and the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. It’s not possible to interact with anything under those bars, including Boost’s settings button.

The work-around I’ve been using is to switch to gesture navigation to get into Boost settings but that’s not ideal. Otherwise, love the app. Thanks!

    Once you get to settings

General -> Lateral Menu -> uncheck sticky settings.

This will move it inline with all the other scrollable options.

I’m pretty sure you can put the settings button on top too. Btw, why no gestures? They are great

I unchecked General -> Lateral Menu -> Sticky Settings and that moved settings up to where it’s accessible. Thanks! Still not crazy about how content can hide under the top and bottom bars though.

I’ve tried gesture navigation several times and it’s just not for me. I much prefer the three-button nav option.

I tried gestures a few times, but it was constantly seeing me scroll horizontally and taking me back, or scrolling upwards and taking me out of the app. Or, oh man, trying to open a left drawer without navigating away from the page I’m on.

I don’t know if I just use devices differently than you, or if I have less patience for things messing up, but honestly I’m glad the work for someone, because otherwise they’d be unusable garbage 😅

Maybe you should reduce the sensitivity or radius if possible. I found the solution for drawers, just scroll diagonally xd
