WASHINGTON — Officers working for Gov. Greg Abbott’s border security initiative have been ordered to push small children and nursing babies back into the Rio Grande, and have been told not to give water to asylum seekers even in extreme heat, according to an email from a Department of Public Safety trooper who described the actions as “inhumane.”
Crazy how the people that claim to be in Jesus’ fan club can completely miss his message of love and compassion. Guess they forgot about the Good Samaritan.
There was a good comic that I saw that leveraged this hypocrisy. I cant remember enough to search for it, but basically it showed one of these people returning home to their child after harming an immigrant’s family (I think).
At least one of them has a conscience. Texas you continue to reinforce my belief that you are a shitty place run by evil people. Jesus wept, these are human beings were talking about here.
Horrible and also not in the least surprising
The US is an authoritarian totalitarian regime and it’s dictators need to be regime-changed.
Someone should toss Abbott into the river, but I wouldn’t want to poison the river.
